There’s always something happening at the Seniors Centre. From music and games to support groups and social gatherings, our activities are a great way to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy time together. Browse the calendar below to see what’s coming up and join us whenever you can.
Events
Recorder Group
The Salt Spring Early Music Consort began fifty years ago. We play soprano, alto, tenor and bass recorders. We are at an advanced level and play mostly Medieval and Renaissance music. This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month. See a historic photo of our group from 1976!

If you find yourself being a caregiver, come and join us. All discussion is confidential. Facilitator - Marg Monro.

Many of us find it difficult to get enough sleep and this workshop explores the reasons and remedies. Information about lifestyle changes that may help is also provided. This is an in-person presentation from the Seniors Health & Wellness Institute. Come for lunch and stay for the workshop!

A relaxed, social music group where participants gather to play instruments, sing familiar songs, and enjoy making music together in a friendly, supportive setting. All skill levels welcome.
Art & Crafts
We do a variety of projects using a selection of mediums. You do not need to be an artist - we encourage you to come out and learn to create.
