Sharing Ideas for a More Age-Friendly Salt Spring

What can we do to make life a little easier for seniors and their caregivers here on Salt Spring?  That was the focus of a recent community conversation hosted by ASK Salt Spring.

On October 2, our Board Chair, Elena Dunn, represented our Society at a community meeting at SIMS, where she shared some of the practical projects we’ve been working on to improve access to information, services and support for seniors and those who care for them.

It was a great opportunity to talk about what we’re doing, hear the perspectives of others in the community, and explore ways we can work together to make Salt Spring an even better place to age.

The Salt Spring Exchange has published an excellent report on the session, with more details about the discussion and the ideas that were shared.
