We are always looking for volunteer drivers to transport seniors to medical appointments. This is a much needed and appreciated service for seniors who have lost their ability to drive or who have had to give up their vehicles. We require our volunteers to have a clean driving record, and a sound and insured vehicle.  Our drivers will also be required to undergo a Police Records Check.

We are excited to announce that we will be applying for funding to design a unified coalition of transportation providers to enhance accessibility, reduce duplication and improve service quality for seniors. And we need your help. We will be asking seniors to tell us about their transportation experiences – what are the issues? What services they can’t access? What are their needs? If you phone or drop in to the Centre you will be greeted by our friendly and knowledgeable Front Desk Staff.   These helpful people are dedicated and ready to assist people to find resources or information they need.   They wear many hats as record keepers, reservation recorders, cashiers, message takers and problem solvers.   Hands-on training is provided for new recruits.
