When sending a cheque, include your first and last name and indicate if the donation is to be used in a specific program. For donations over $20.00 a tax receipt will be mailed to you.

To make a donation using your credit card, you will be redirected to the CanadaHelps website, which will process your donation and send you a tax receipt via email. Make sure to fill out all the information including full name and mailing address.

Step 1: Send the e-transfer

In your online banking, set up a new recipient for electronic funds transfer to: saltspringseniors@shaw.ca

Then send the donation by e-transfer to that address. Your donation will auto-deposit to the Seniors bank account (no password will be required).

Step 2: Let us know who you are

Send an email to saltspringseniors@shaw.ca with this information:

• Donation Amount
• The date you sent it
• Indicate if the donation is in memory of a specific person
• First and last name of donor
• Your postal address
• Your email address
• (Optional – your telephone number)

We will send you a tax receipt by mail, for donations $20 or more.
