Drivers Program

Our Drivers Program provides drives on island, and to Duncan, Nanaimo and Victoria for medical appointments. This service is free, and we ask members to get a TAPS form from their doctor, to cover the ferry costs. For on island, we ask that requests be phoned in at least two days in advance and for off island appointments, please call a week in advance.

We have many satisfied customers agreeing it is an excellent service and costs the passengers nothing.

Drivers are, if they like, paid according to the BC Government travel guidelines, or if not in cash, then in a charitable donation receipt for the same amount. Our drivers and dispatchers are glad to help those in need so that when those in need are not in need, they will help us!

Hours for the Drivers Program desk are 10 to 12 Monday to Friday.
